Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?”
“Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.
Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.” John 18:7-9
It was time. The work Jesus came to do was about to come to a conclusion and he couldn’t prolong it any more. Over the next few days his work would be finished but discussed forever.
What about you? What’s your “work?” It’s probably not as grandiose as saving humanity because, quite frankly, you can’t.
What were you put on this earth to be or to do? Not your spouse or your kids or friends or relatives, but you. What are you here to do?
Answer that one question and your life will be significantly easier.
