The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30

Are you a “soul winner?” When this was written, I am certain that Solomon had a slightly different meaning than we do today for the phrase. Today someone who “wins souls” means those who actively spread the Gospel. Attaining wisdom is threaded throughout the Book of Proverbs. It’s no different in this verse.

Through your wisdom, you have the ability to persuade others into Godly and holy thinking. Often it’s a long term commitment to do just that and most often is deliberate on your part. It took people many years to have godless and unholy thinking and it may take just as long to help “re-program” them. And of course, by your actions you will win them over to your “side.”
