Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Proverbs 4:6

I know it’s starting to sound like a broken record, but even four chapters into the Book of Proverbs the main theme has been wisdom wisdom wisdom. It’s certainly important to the prominence it should have in our lives. Anything the Bible mentions a few times should be given special attention.

Today the writer speaks of the protection that wisdom offers. How does wisdom protect us? Well, it protects us from saying things we shouldn’t say. It protects us from making bad choices. It protects us from sayiing harsh and cruel things to others. Those are three out of thousands of ways that wisdom protects us.

Thank God for His wisdom and His protection in our lives.
