With My Whole Heart

Over the next few days my wife, Kerry, will be writing the devotionals as I will be on a trip without internet, electricity, or plumbing.

Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious and His righteousness endures forever. Psalm 111:1-3

I encourage you to meditate on praising God with all of your heart. We should talk about how good God is with other believers —we should praise God together and it renews our spirits. I imagine at the marriage supper of the Lamb that will be our entire conversation—praising the Lord, talking to Jesus.

It is exciting to read the Bible and see the things that God has done, to see the things Jesus did when He was here on earth as a man, to read the answers He gave to those who questioned Him. I love Michael Card’s expression about this in his song “The Book”.
