4 They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting.
5 They crush your people, Lord; they oppress your inheritance.
6 They slay the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
7 They say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.” Psalm 94:4-7
I see these words as the face of Islam throughout the world.
They are mild while they are in the minority but when they start to gain political power, they begin flexing their muscle to impose their beliefs on all those around them.
It happened most recently in Europe and is happening in the United States and Canada. In fact, through the last 1600 years it is how Islam spread throughout the world.
Who is trying to stop them this time around? The political leaders seem like nothing is happening even when their countries aer being overrun. they see utterly helpless to stop them and their ideology. In their eagerness to help the poor and downtrodden, they neglected the one thing they were elected to do: provide for the security and safety of their own countrymen.
Again, the passage ends by stating that their actions are going unnoticed.
It’s true that many people are committing serious crimes and no one seems to care. Even if they did notice, they’re certainly not sounding the alarm.
We all know that God is waiting and watching. I don’t know why He doesn’t intervene; I really don’t. There will come a time when all of these actions that went unnoticed and the people who committed them will be judged, and wrongs will be righted.
Come soon, Lord Jesus, come soon.
