22 The enemy will not get the better of him; the wicked will not oppress him. Psalm 89:22
Though Satan tried his best, he could not harm the Savior.
Though Saul tried to kill David, God spared him. He had other purposes for David. David proclaimed loudly and often about his plight, and the Lord heard David.
Little has changed over the years. Satan still tries to discourage, depress, oppress, and demoralize Believers. It’s no wonder that tempers flare up on Sunday morning as Believers are ready to walk out the door to church. His goal is for you to have a terrible worship experience, and he begins working on that as you get up for the day.
Consider these words as you prepare for Church in the morning. Be on your guard against the wiles and craftiness of the enemy. He seeks to destroy you. Don’t give him an inch in this regard. Recognize confusion and harsh words early before they go too far.
God, on the other hand, wants you to have an intimate worship experience. Call out to him boldly when you recognize the evil one’s ways.
